The third and final round of face-to-face workshops of the project in Greece were held during the last week of September and were all about safety!
The participants talked about how they can keep their devices safe, avoid malware and viruses, and use appropriate passwords. How to use online banking services and e-shopping platforms with safety was the next topic discussed, before learning all abouts scams, phishing, and how to use social media with safety. The workshops concluded with very interesting discussions on how to recognise fake news online and verify the information and sources they read.
In the following the months the trainees and their mentors will continue to meet in smaller groups and in individual sessions to complete their learning journey through the internet and digital technologies towards performing online transactions safely.
